Need factory sales contact or local 25FB

We are seriously considering buying a FC25FB new but no dealer within 4 hours has inventory for us to browse. I tried a search on this forum for anything within 100 miles, no go. So I want to contact the factory sales group to see if they have an owner listing that would show someone within 100 miles of me. Anyone have an email for factory sales or a way to search for owners beyond this forum? Thanks
Larry

I suspect you'll find the 25 FBs in short supply at this time of the year.

They are probably the most popular of all.

You will have much better luck if you wait for a few months.

I doubt AS will give you owner info.

Thank you. I can certainly wait but it would still be nice to find an owner nearby who would let me inspect his/hers.

How close are you to Top of Georgia AS park? Youmaycontact them and see if there are any there. Usually a pretty good selection of campers there this time of year. Good people. Wem site is googled top of Georgia, they are the Georgia WBCCI club. Or you can find another Wally club nearer you through the Internet and they may help you. Jim

I only live 2709 miles from you but you are certainly welcome to catch a plane and come see mine.

Posting on this forum might be your best chance. Have you looked at CL or Ebay? You might luck out and find one close enough to take a look at. Our local dealer had one on the lot and that is where we made up our mind regarding the floor plan. Took a couple of years after that to find a good used one. Good luck in your search.

Member Search

You can do a search of members who own a 25FB. I just did and found a bunch but it seems that you have to list a particular year to gain access. It might take some time if you have to look year by year but at least you will get a list.

Here is one

Sorry to keep bugging you but I just found this one on CL. It is in Raleigh which is 111 miles away. It is also a dealer so they shouldn't take issue with you "looking".

Keep your eye on the upcoming forum rallies on the AIR main portal page. You can bet on 25' FBs being at most any sizable rally. I don't see anything imminent for your area of the country ... South Carolina in early September shows up.

In the wishbook category, Colonial Airstream in NJ has a large number of photos documenting each current & recently sold unit from multiple perspectives.

Good luck in your quest!

Thank you

Thank you for all of the help! The CL International is about 2 hours away and if it is still there in a few weeks, I could get over there. The Top of Georgia Park looks amazing but it probably 8 Hours away. I have been through Helen, GA...nice place. I did a member search by year and there are a couple of possibilities with older FC's but they have not been on the forum since they bought their AS so my chances of getting them to answer a PM are slim to none. I will try that again, when I can hop in the car and go. I also think I will put the NC dealer to work for me; if he wants to sell me one he should be willing to look hard for a viewing opportunity. At one point we wanted to compare a 23FB with the 25FB, but my wife is convinced the 25 is it and she gets that vote.

One thing about the 23' FB -- I believe it is that model that has the dinette over a wheel well and it is a strictly 2-person seating arrangment. I can't count the number of times we've had a foursome eating (and sixsomes and eightsomes...).

Right, Bob. Part of the reason for me accepting the higher cost and bigger towing load are worth it. We want to do some several week trips so the extra room will make it more welcome. Funny, I started out thinking 19 and now we are at 25. But I was into cruising boats for a long time and bigger was always better...just more money.

Larry, Where are you? We bought our 25 fb last fall and love it. We are in Michigan. I'm fairly certain you could find a new one here in Grand Rapids or in Traverse City. Let me know if we can help. J

Thanks, I am in Eastern NC, too far away. The two nearest dealers are each about 4 hours away or a bit less.

Out of Doors Mart has a 27FB international; basically the same as a 25FB; except for size of the pantry and closet. The also have a different size Flying Cloud; so you can see the actual decor of the FC.

Thanks, but you folks tell me, I do not think we can tell exactly what we are getting into without looking at the exact size we would be buying. My experience with boats is that every couple of feet made a big difference in livability.

Cool! And yes, last weekend of April a few years ago we did misfire on the hope for a great spring outing -- eight of us did do a full dinner in the back of our 25' FB during a sleet storm. I don't have any pictures of the wheel wells -- and no, I don't need new axles.

I do not have that many friends so I do not need to worry about it. But, you AS folks seem to be very friendly. Might be a wayto make some friends.

Exactly. We started looking at a Bambi, noticed the wheel wells on the 23, did a lot of math to confirm towing and load capacity. The 25 was doable and it is perfect for us.

Did it!

Aftermath, thank you for the referral. We went over to Raleigh, looked at the Serenity and bought it. Should have it ready in a couple of weeks!
