Lockable Battery Compartment

I just purchased a 2014 30'Flying Cloud Bunk. I live in an area where the local wildlife wouldn't hesitate to cash in on a couple of free deep cycle batteries. Any ideas on replacing the twist lock with a keyed lock?

Run a search for "locking airstream battery" in Bing, lotsa answers pointing to standard locks available at hardware and camping rv stores.

Any RV store should have replacement locks that will replace the twist lock; however, they use a very commonl key (as all the storage doors on your Airstream also do). You can buy the off-the-shelf locks and have a locksmith re-key them.

Lowes warehouse. $5. Works like a champ.

It takes a big man to admit he's wrong. It takes an even bigger man to laugh at that man.
