Also, the DenCO WBCCI unit puts on a great rally at Yuma, CO. We went to the Old Threshers last year and it was very enjoyable! It will be coming up in September, as I recall. Well worth attending!

We just finished a quick trip from CA to KS and back. Saw a lot of road work projects that will improve conditions on interstate 80/70/40/5 but very few patching efforts. That shovel of hot mix applied by a roving road crew would really help eliminate the big pot holes that ruin your day.

past time for our federal congress to put our tax dollars to work repairing our infrastructure. deteriorating roads and bridges are becoming an ever increasing problem from one coast to the other. unfortunately, those we elected will continue to play games.

Only the peasants use the roads. The elites helicopter hither and yon, on our dime.

We've done two things for the table.

First, we attached the foot to the floor with a hinge. The hinge pin was replaced with a removable clip.

Second, we put a rectangle of rubber material behind each of the tabs in the upper wall brackets. That makes the table more stable in general (it had a tendency to shift when you put even a small amount of weight on the table corners.

We have not been on the road with these modifications yet.

On our last trip we noted that Louisiana is giving Michigan a run for it's money in terms of having the worst roads and that Ohio, which used to have pretty good roads, is slipping.
You (USA) made your choice, 45 billion for three new aircraft carriers, 400 billion for new F35's that have design flaws, 100 billion for new submarines, 30 billion for new Humvees, and that's just the big juicy programs (I'm sure I missed a couple).

All to protect what? A crumbling infrastructure, rampant gun crime in a crumbling society full of fearful people that can't even drive a road without getting shot at, sections of New Orleans not rebuilt after 10 years, a dry and burning California. If the USA spent its defence budget on infrastructure and civil programs you'd have something to defend.

Yes, there are worst places in the world to live (all made possible by Russian and US weapons) but even Canada has surplanted the US in middle class living standard.

After watching the Republican debate where the moderator quelched any sort of meaningful discourse on how the candidates would run the country and focused entirely on what he said, or she said, about him or her; I'm not hopeful the US will get back on track, which is a pity.

Get it together guys, waving the flag and saying God bless America all the time will not fix your country. It takes determination and regulation to have a great country.

Here's hoping.

Why would you even post that inflammatory rant?
Not even worthy of discussion. Nothing but a nagative troll attempt.

On my trip to Utah in June the roads were generally fine. I70 gets a little rough going over the Continental Divide but no potholes. OKlahoma City freeways were rough at times due to the many concrete overpasses but no potholes.

Garelick adjustable table post (on my wish list). These people are in the marine accessory business and produce a superior product at appropriate prices. I have used their products for many years on my sailboats.

Yes please, make as tall as you can.

My previous post was a bit of a rant, but seriously I'm very concerned about the direction the US is taking. It is like watching a best friend hooked on Oxycontin and Fentanyl and there's nothing you can do about it, as they don't want to hear about their problems. The old abnormal has become the new normal.

Cheers
Tony
