Fresh Water Tank Drain

I am planning to sanitize the fresh water system prior to the first trip in our new 2011 Flying Cloud 30'. The owners manual says that it is located "on the exterior tank pan under the trailer". Short of having to crawl under the trailer, can someone help me with a more specific location? Thanks. Jack

Mine is located on the side of the tank. It is accessible from the curb side of the trailer between the wheels. I do have to get down on my knees to reach it.
Hope this helps.

I assume you're talking about the fresh water tank drain. It was confusing for me also. On my 31' Classic the drain is a plastic petcock drain that is located behind the front wheel on the passenger side. Hard to get to without sliding under the trailer. I have a creeper that I use when changing my truck oil. Works just fine to get under the trailer. BTW, between the two wheels there are two metal petcocks. These connect to the water lines and do not drain the fresh water tank. See this link for a discussion on draining the water tank:

Thanks for the quick replies. On our International 28' the petcock was readily visible and accessible between curb side (?) tires. Looking in the same location on either side on the FC I don't see anything. I suspect i will have to crawl underneath, but I sure would like to know where the petcock is before doing so. Jack
