Thanks, mrprez.

Although the Acu-Rite Wireless Thermometer comes with 2 sensors (one for the regular portion of the refrigerator and the other for the freezer), we only are concerned with the lower part of refrigerator because our freezer always keeps our food frozen and we need not take up precious space there with a monitor sensor. We use the second sensor to monitor our trailer's room temperature.

One of the nice features of this thermometer is that it will keep track and display the highest and lowest temperature since it was last reset. I reset it each time we resupply our refrigerator with food to make sure it cools to the proper temperature.

That is correct. I am am using the Acu-rite Wireless Thermometer, and the two temperatures that am referring to are the refrigerator/freezer.

Have you checked your vents to make sure they are clear from any obstructions?

Yes, everything appears to be clear and clean, and the little fan is operational.

Ok - I finally got around to taking pictures of our Maxxair II vent covers. Here is the link to a photo of them on our 23FB. We love them. We are able to keep them open during thunderstorms and pretty much all the time which keeps the interior much cooler and fresher.

Sure. Not a problem. I wish Airstream could get the air conditioner in the same color

We have the fantastic fans underneath these covers and we open them as much as the covers allow and let the air flow.

I have one more question. Did you install the Maxxairs yourself or have them installed?

Also, I think that it would be fairly easy to put a coat or two of silver/gray spray paint on the air conditioner cover. It comes off with just a couple of screws.

I had them installed at the dealership. The labor wasn't much as I recall.

Great idea on painting the a/c cover. Will think about that!

It's Rocky Mountain National Park in Colorado (25 miles from Longmont/Lyons). It's the Moraine CG which is one of our favorites. This site is in Loop C which has some sites that overlook the Moraine Valley (sites 227-232) The Upper Big Thompson river runs through the Moraine Valley.

In September, it is a great campsite as the elk are in rut and you can hear them bugling and watch the males gather and fight for their harems in the valley below.

There are lots of beautiful campsites in this park. Don't tell anyone

Here's a better photo of the view behind our AS:
