Changing 14" wheels to 15" on 23' FC

Will the 15" Airstream 30' 2014 Classic wheels fit on my 23' 2011 FC?

The 14" wheels are 5 bolt and the 15's are 6 bolt. So do you look for another brand 15" wheel with 5 bolts or what ( if anthing) can be done to my FC to make the factory 6 bolt 15 " wheels work. Thanks

I had a 23 foot with 14 inch wheels and the "C rated" tires that just did not hold up.

Take one wheel to a dealer of aluminum wheels. They will tell you which wheels they have that will fit that five lug nut pattern. I believe it was some Ford 15" that would work. After I needed to replace the tires on the original 14" wheels, I want back and they had sold all of the wheels that would have fit. They were removed from a group of cars and other wheels were used was what I recall. They searched their current catalogue and could not find the wheel that would work.

I sold the 23' trailer and the information was in the warranty bag, but it takes a wheel shop just minutes to tell you which wheels will work. Airstream in Jackson Center also had the specifics of how the wheel centers on the drum. It was not as simple as you would think, but can be done. I wanted the 15" wheels for the "D rated" tires. The 14" are "C rated" and easy to puncture if you encountered gravel on a hard surface. Now with a 25' AS I paid dearly to get those wheels!

I bought Sendel T03 trailer wheels and 15" Michelin LTX M/S2 XL P235/75R15 tires for my 2014 23D. All from America's/Discount Tire.

I switched to the same tires as interstateflyer, but with Sendel T02 wheels (56545T). The wheels came from Trailer Wheel & Tire Superstore. We offer trailer rims, trailer tires with Free Shipping over $50.

Thank you for the great advice. There is a set of new 15" wheels and tires in the Airstream Forum classified ads that was very tempting for a set of four wheels and tires for $600. Dang..... Still a happy camper.
