30' Bunk House

My wife and I are about to order a 2015 Bunk House. We are moving up from a 27'FB. We have checked the box on most of the options but are wondering if the optional awning package is worth the extra cost. Thoughts?

I just did the same thing, bought the awning package.

The trailer is in production so I can't comment on the performance. I would think in Florida and Texas, or any other hot sunny area it would help.

What made me go with the package was comparing costs of doing in the factory vs aftermarket, it was cheaper to do it initially, plus I wanted the factory folks to do the install.

We live in Florida and bought the awning package for that reason and thankful we did. If you live in a Southern state, I would highly advise it! I believe it really helps!

We have a 27' Eddie Bauer with the full awning package and it really does make a difference in warm (or hot) sunny situations. In my opinion it is definitely worth it. And in this case, since you are already "spending the big bucks," go for it!

We just took delivery of a 2015 FC 25FB. It did not come with the optional awning package. We are planning to add the rear window awning at Jackson Center in the Spring. We feel it will be great to have over the dinette window.
