Hi, we picked the rear Queen, ten years ago and still love it today, because the Queen still likes the King.

The stock foam mattress' weren't very comfortable and have been replaced with custom innerspring mattress' and memory foam tops. Most large cities have one or more mattress factories and they will make a mattress with radiused sides if you bring them a template.
The mattress does tend to slide off the platform because the platform isn't as wide as the mattress. I put a rubber pad under the mattress to minimize this sliding.
The bed is somewhat difficult to make because it is against the wall.
For us, twins are a better option than a small queen found in most Airstreams.
We looked inside a newer Flying Cloud 27. It had a large queen and if it had a nice mattress, we would regard that as an upgrade to our present setup.
I just got mine 2018 FC25RT, can you send me info about the rubber pad you did? Send me a link where you bought it. I've slept on it once in my driveway, and I can see it sliding. Thanks!

Ordered a 2013 25FB International Serenity with cross frame queen bed sight unseen. First night we realized this was a mistake for us. Cracked my head on the roof locker when trying to sit up and crab walk down the bed for a bathroom trip. There was no way way for me to easily make the bed.

We saw the last (#25 of 25) of the recent 34' Classics and fell in love with the hickory interior. We initially ordered a 2014 27FB Classic to replace the 25FB but it still had the identical floor plan to the 25FB for the dinette/lounge area so we switched the order to the 2014 31' Classic with twins for just the price differential of about $3,000.

We have been very happy with the decision as the Classic has become our summer home in the mountains to get away from the Phoenix summer heat.

We then acquired the 2015 23D International Serenity for short trip traveling. This still has the "climb over" issue to get out of bed but the roof locker is not in the way. I spent over six weeks alone in the 23D while working in our RV park (my wife was visiting her elderly folks overseas) on the re-wiring project and it was just all the space i needed.
