Got the new table tops and they are a perfect fit. I would not rely on dimensions from another 26u. They are probably all different. The workmanship on the edge banding is still pretty sloppy.

Coffee Table Idea

What do you think of this use of one of the tables?

I noticed where you put that long cushion on top of the sofa back. Is that what its for? I called Airstream and they couldn't tell me what it was for.

Long Pillow Uses

I placed the long pillow along the top of the back cushions just for the picture of my coffee table idea. I'm not really sure where it goes. We have used it with the bed. We slide the mattress down and place the long pillow between the head of the bed and the inside wall. Doing this allows my 6'4" husband a little better room while sleeping. So far we are delighted with the 26U!

I'm not sure it has any practical purpose...it's really not used when you make up the dinette bed as far as I can see. Maybe a back support for the dinette cushions. We took ours out and didn't miss it at all.

26u

I am glad to see so many are happy with the 26U. We looked again last weekend, (4th visit to this model in last year) and the hall way is just too narrow with the refrigerator door and bathroom door they way they designed it, at least for us. I like the U shaped lounge area with the twin beds. Perhaps they will add this type lounge in other models going forward in the 25 or 27 models so the lounge area is more practical than the way they are now. Just thinking out loud..

We've got one on order just waiting for the Build date. Plan to visit factory during the process. Ours is the 26U Twin and we are moving up from a 20' that over 20,000 miles on her and is being retired due to hail damage in Texas last April.

We're based in Las Vegas and belong to the Vegas and Greater LA WBCCI Chapters and you?

We picked up our 26U yesterday in Florida. Now she's enjoying some beach time while we shake her out. So far, it's a definite upgrade from our 2010 International 25FB.

We've had ours for 2 camping seasons now - love the floorplan - if you have any questions about the unit, ask away

We pick ours up on Tuesday at The RV Shop in Baton Rouge. Looking forward to many nights of camping. Thanks for all the info about the table. The dealer ordered us a new one.

Hi Breezingalong....please share your thoughts on why you like this better than 25, other than U-Lounge? Very curious to see what we are missing?

Well, let's see... The U dinnette is much more comfortable for watching TV or lounging. The spilt table is awesome. We usually use the curved 1/2 and place it in the rear pedestal position. It gives plenty of 'in and out access.'

The bathroom, from what AS says, is the largest under 30'. I concur and particularly enjoy how much roomier the shower is. Also, there's more room on the throne (without details..)

The space in the bedroom is nice as well, with an added vanity and more 'walk around' space.

Kitchen storage is exceptional, especially if you have the micro:convection combo. Same for external storage. There's more under the bed due to the water heater being moved, and there's exterior storage off the tongue as well.

There's more windows as well that let in wonderful light. There's even a bathroom window.

No knock against the 25, but for us it's a much more livable floor plan.

We do the same with dinette. Plus we purchased a "Collapsible" Storage Box/with Lid. from Container Store. (Others stores have) . We use it as a foot rest and store bottled water in it. Stays in place during transit. Not in use you can collapse it and store it flat in closet. Also can use as seating at end of tables.Seat 7.
