Thanks for all the helpfu advice on this forum. I contacted AS last week with a list of problems and here are their responses:
1. Dinette/bed issue-Sending new support strips.
2. A/C vents fall out-Use double sided tape.
3. Twin mattresses 3 1/2" wider than bed-Don't yet know solution. (Mattresses want to slide off bed)
4. Bedspread coming unstitched-Get repaired locally and send AS the bill.
5. Medicine cabinet shelves not level (Top shelf 1" higher in rear than front)-I chose to take apart and repair myself.
6. Edge banding on 1 tabletop has 1/4" gap-AS sending new edge banding so I can repair.
7. Only 1 under bed storage area has grid to prevent hinges from being popped loose when anything is removed from storage-AS doesn't have solution. I might end up making them myself.
AS recommended that I take to dealer for repairs, but I know they would break more than they would fix based on past experience.

Getting a good list going. If mine I would consider a trip to Jackson Center closer to end of warrenty period. If possible they will address all your issues and do the work correctly. Good luck

Hinge Popping loose! They all seem to be subject to take things out of cabinet's and they pop loose !!
Check out Wurth Baer Supply .Part # GFF072135807540. Cabinet Hinge Protector. This was passed on to me , and i have not checked it out !! I get home and forget about it, go on a trip and and it happen's again. Even closet's pop open. The hinge probably comes with it, but AS doesn't install. Hope to check out Hinge protector in the next 3 month's.
Good advice re the hinge clip protectors. Thanks Knunut. Have the same issue with our 26U. Slight bump and they pop-out. Very frustrating. Went to the Baer Supply site and looked them up. Not a lot of detail but they sell for $0.59 each. Great value if they fix the problem. Only issue is the $13 shipping fee. Seems quite expensive but probably worth it to fix the problem.
Thanks for the info on the hinge protectors. Even though the shipping is as much as the parts, I went ahead and ordered them. As many times as I've been down on the floor trying to get them back together, I would have gladly paid twice as much. I thought they were plastic, but the website shows "metal".
You people constantly amaze me with your knowledge.

Hinge Protector
Sound's good. I can't take credit for the find. It was somebody at the Jackson Center campground that told me. I was amazed he found them. Can't wait to hear about there success.
I better order some for "All" the hinges.
I received the hinge protectors today and got them installed. They seem to work as advertised. I tried to post a video but it shows to be still processing. It shows a maximum mp4 files size of 500mb and mine is only 3.14mb. To install, simply insert the wide end of the clip into the hinge just above the release on the back of the hinge. I haven't tried to remove one yet, but it looks easy with a small knife or screwdriver. The Wurth catalog and the packing list show "steel", but they are obviously plastic.

Table Top Rails Replacement
Rcvd. rails today ,were ordered in July. Rcvd. Two 36" long rails 13/16 wide. The orig. design is 4 Rails ,11"L x 1 1/4 wide. . No instruction's no holes in rails.
Called Cust. Serv.& Lv. Msg. Not sure what to do with them. There not even as wide as Orig. My only thought is these new might go "Under" original rails.
Will keep you posted !
I am having same problem with the rails. Talked to Randy McNeeley and he said I need new table tops. They have been on order for several weeks. He says he has had some on order since July for another 26u owner. He can give me no expected delivery date. It sounds like they are so backed up building new trailers that they have no time to fix prior mistakes. Randy is head of customer service. We are planning a trip next week, but luckily, it will just be the 2 of us and we won't need another bed.
