Make sure tabs stick out of post. If not, post goes all the way down hit's bottom tab pop's out and you can't get post out ! Yuk !!! This was not fun.
Take a thin blade knife slide down along surface of post,find tab and push & hold in. pull post up and out. Did this on both. Did i say this is not fun.
Got to find a solution for future.

Picture show's Tab "In" . Should protrude thru hole . Photo show's wrong position. In this position post can go all the way to bottom. Hope this help's.

We've never had to use the front dinette bed till now. Our adult son will be staying with us for a few days in June. DW asked how others made the bed up? She says some kind of sheets. I say sleeping bag. What do you say. Thanks

Had a wheel off my 26U today so I could install the Centramatics. Discovered two shut offs behind the tire. Anyone know what their function is?

I was told by the guy who serviced my Airstream that those low shut off valves can easily break off. They are the lowest point under the trailer so any road trash will strike there first. He replaced mine with interior valves.

Looks by tomorrow the bathroom door will be held shut while traveling with Gorilla tape too. The walls are moving apart and the door latch has nothing to grab. Frustrating since I have traveled these roads a ton of times in my other two AS, roads are fine, but AS needs to step it up on some of the newer design aspects on the 26. Don't know what they were thinking.

Other than than these very inconvenient issues, love the layout.

We have a similar slide-out pantry on our 23D. We had a bad "slide out" in our first season -- the pantry slid around so much that it broke. Paul repaired the slides and put it all back together, and he also added a small L-bracket so that the push-latch had something better to catch. We haven't had an issue since. Above the slide-out, I added refrigerator tension bars in that cupboard just to hold things in place while moving.

My recommendation to anyone with a slide-out pantry is to replace the catch with a little L-bracket. That would have prevented any issues.

Plan-B....Not sure what your solution to these problems will be, but if you want some of the latches used in my photo, I'll gladly get you some from Can-am and mail them to you. I've looked in a dozen other hardware stores around the country and no one else carries this particular latch. They do look rather nice as far as latches go.

Have only had the drawer between the twins, slide out. Replaced the "catch" with a 20#. On prev. trlr. use that and child proof "L" catch on drawers.

After 120 nights ,we still Love the layout (26UTwins) .No other problems .Now to work on TV option's.

1( what is a "little L-bracket."
2 What are "a 20#. and "child proof "L" catch on drawers."

I'm a 72 year old woman towing my 26U alone; love it, but worried about those two pull out cabinets.

At the International now - first time using the king bed up front for my son. About 1 hour after getting into bed, I heard a big crash and found the table sections on the floor. Both table sections are not wide enough to completely fill the space between the rails on either side of the dinette and, to add to that, the rails are not wide enough. This means, if the table tops, when put in between the benches slide around a bit, they fall right out between the 2 benches!

Luckily my son was not hurt and I was able to jury-rig shims to increase the width of the rails and use some Velcro to keep the table tops from sliding left and right when it's made into a bed. Also, the tabletops survived the crash.

That said, my neighbor here has a new 26U and we tested his front bed setup and found the same thing! When I return, I will have to create wider rails or a more permanent shim to prevent this from happening again.

Be careful when using the front bed - Airstream should have done a better job creating the front bed and testing it.

I replaced the existing latch grabber with either a 10 or 20 lb. Amazon has the Southco SC4320 10lb. side mount catch. You only need to replace the catch portion. The "L" catch i got at local hardware for previous trailer.Have not needed in this trailer yet. Look for "Childproof" catch's and adapt or use as needed. The only drawer or cabinet i needed to replace was drawer between twins. Those "Emergency Stops" from people cutting us off!

Just had another "Great" 10 day's . Now to pack for EAA convention.

Airstream is going to make new (slightly wider) tabletops for me and wider side rails to solve the collapsing bed issue. They were very good about helping and readily agreed to make new tops to fix the issue.

Has anyone has an issue with the refer on the 26U getting overheated?
On our last trip the cabinet over the frige got so hot that it melted some of the goods in the cabinet.
We took it in to A/S and they agreed that it should not be that hot. They took it out and put a heat barrier on top of it and added a fan for better exhaust. I believe they said it doesn't come with any exhaust fan.
Just passing this along.
