Excuse the lived in look, but we're living in it. After knocking over a couple of glasses of red wine entering and exiting our dinette, (and we're thin people) we decided a narrower table was needed. Instead of cutting down our table we ordered a matching Bambi table from Airstream. It is 9 inches narrower and came with all hardware. So it was ready to hang on the wall. We did replace the cheesy aluminum stick leg with a turned wooden one.

But you can't seal the edges under the shell or are they already sealed at the factory?
Or should you drill small holes and fill with a material that wicks into the wood at the edges?

Thanks for that idea. That may be an easy way to provide enough clearance for recliner.

That's really cool. Thanks for the link. I went on their website and noticed that they have a similar conversion called the "office model" with a desk.

There were 5 trailers on the site that were different including a 175K Wine Bar that would likely make you the most popular person at your next rally. Posted a thread with links to all 5:

I just bought a new 2015 from AANW last week. I went inside the one listed above. It was really neat. But for me I need more sleeping space and not work space.

I think I could turn mine into the same basic thing for a lot less, but would feel bad about hacking into a brand new trailer!

Where do you store the cushions that are placed on the table top when you make it into a bed. Those cushions seem to be extra cushions for sleeping.

KJ- the extra cushions can go along the perimeter/next to the metal walls. Keeps you better insulated against touching cold wall at night.

I also thought that the MSRPs on those custom conversions were a little pricey for what you get. I would think that I could hire an expert cabinet maker and a really good upholstery person and complete a conversion like that, or nicer, for under $5,000.

The little red push button turns on and off the fan. You also need to push up the plastic handle across the fan enclosure. That opens the vent top to allow the steam to be pulled outside. Not pushing the handle up to open the vent to the outside renders the fan useless even if it is turned on and running.
