I thought that the 120v outlets would be doubles and the inverters single- that seemed to make some sense. But looking your photos, maybe it's just whichever receptacle they happen to grab when installing.

I don't get it either on the double outlet vs. single. I'm sure that using the single net Airstream an additional 25 cents of profit on each trailer.

The FedEx truck just left. Lucy's new tires and wheels are here! I've unpacked them for inspection and a photo op. Now all I need is for the Centramatics to get here.

New Lucy is getting new shoes! She is looking so pretty. Take her picture when she gets them on.

Ours is just the opposite, it won't open no matter how hard I pull on the release.

Airstream did not drop the idea of an articulating television arm completely as the television in Lucy's bedroom is mounted with a swing-out arm.

Since my Cenramatics won't be here until Monday, we decided to go ahead and get the new spare up under Lucy's belly. We pretty easily removed the the OEM 15" spare. The new 16" spare wasn't going to go into the rack until I bent out the little holding rods. The rods were not easy to bend while the rack was still mounted to the Airstream. I decided to remove the rack and do it on the driveway.

I removed the two bolts that attach the rack to Lucy's frame. Once on the driveway, it was easy to bend the rods with a piece of pipe. We reinstalled the rack and the new 16" spare slid right in.

Gary, that tv arm is a close tolerance when closed, the arms rub each other every time so I can see it might jam. Try to lift the tv as you pull on the release and pull it out.

I was planning on doing that very same thing. Which model/brand articulating mount did you use?

The mount that I installed is the Mount-it MI-407. I got it from Amazon. The cost was $24.99 on Amazon Prime. It installed easily and seems to hold Lucy's Samsung 28" television securely. This mount allows easy movement of the television. Lucy's HDMI cord that comes out of the wall to interface the Television with the Blue Ray player in the overhead cabinet is too short to allow full movement. I have ordered a double female HDMI adapter to extend this cord. I have temporarily disconnected the cord.

I am still working on a method to secure the mount while Lucy is underway.

Lucy's new 16" tires and wheels are now installed. The Centramatic balancers came this morning. SuEllyn and I mounted them this afternoon. The whole process took a little over an hour.

Now that Lucy's 16" tire/wheel project is complete, it is time to move on to the next improvement. We have a Voyager wireless rear view camera. I have decided to install it in New Lucy on the inside at the center of the rear window.

Now I have to figure out how and where to mount it and how to power it. I will start in the morning.

We mounted our Voyager camera centered above the rear window and took power from one of the rear roof locker lights. We get excellent video reception with their receiver/display mounted on the dash of the truck without an external antenna.
