Being Carnies at heart, traveling the highways and byways in our in our silver trailer, we have always found the colored lights most comforting and appropriate. Lucy's lights can be set on white, but that would tend to tone down the festival atmosphere. We put Lucy's lights on each evening before we go down to the beach for sunset. We do this to annoy the neighbors.

colored lights

Colored lights can hypnotize
Sparkle someone else's eyes

I can name that tune in ... seconds.

Last trip there was some idiot in this huge bus motorhome and he had these stupid super bright blue cheezy LED lights completely surrounding the bottom of his motorhome shining down on the ground so that there was this ridiculously blinding silly blue light glowing and blinding the hell out of everyone camped around him literally all night long. Talk about inconsiderate and ignorant...not to mention how utterly classless and low-rent his sci-fi hovering trailer park rig looked to everyone in the campground. I still chuckle when I think about how "kewl" he probably thought his silly damn rig looked.

Maybe I'll put colored LED's in my house windows to annoy the neighbors. I think the lights may look better inside than out, but several libations probably make them look better on either side. In Colorado, the highest state, soon we will have all the highway guard rails festooned with colored LED's.

That sounds great, Gene. We will have to come and see that. Since New Lucy's belt line LED's are 12 volt, I can can use them while undeway.

I want to see you "can can" with colored lights while "und[i]eway".

On second thought, maybe not.

Kool! Did they happen to have a lava light?? Seems to me, that set up could command some "big scratch" if sold in Colorado..."ey man....look at those kool, groovy lights on that motorhome"! "I see it, man...first thought it was a saucer....pass me the joint"! LoL

Brian, just noticed this on another thread. Curious whether AS has told you about a fix? Thanks.

Just checked out a 2016 FC 25RB Twin at our local dealer. What is with the AC vents? Most of them had a giant gap between the vent housing and the ceiling surface on one side and flush on the opposite side. This was a dual A/C unit. Even the rectangular intake vents weren't flush with the ceiling.

Other observations, the formica work was terrible. I noticed gaps where the top and side services meet. The corners of the small kitchen extension didn't meet square.

In several places where the walls and corners met the ceiling the wood was splintering.

On one wall where a square piece transitions to a curved piece a cheap plastic transition was peeling off.

Airstream used a Danby microwave, something that looks like it came out of Walmart

Everything looked like it was assembled in one big rush.

All this for a no haggle price of $69,000

Very disappointed.

Kelvin

That's what we owners (the non-delusional ones) refer to as "typical Airstream quality and attention to detail."

With Airstream, you're buying a look, a style, and a history. Nothing more, nothing less. Quality doesn't necessarily factor in to the equation.

I saw this comment also. To answer your question, no, no one at Airstream has contacted me about their so called "fix" for the falling vents. I will try contacting them and ask.
