2015 FC Fantastic Fan Failure

On a hot day in the Nevada desert a few days ago both of our Fantastic Fans decided to quit running. Not simultaneously but within a few minutes. First thought the outside temp didn't agree with the parameters of operation related to temp inside the AS. Checked all known fuses, on/off switches, thermostat settings, etc. AS supplied diagrams suggest fuses elsewhere than in converter. Any ideas where the fuses might be located or what may have failed on "both" fans? The motor to lift the cover works on both fans.

I believe they only have one fuse. It is under a round black cover that you can see when you look up. If your lift motor works, the problem isn't the fuse.

Low voltage supply for example can cause overheating of motors, do these have a thermal switch that needs resetting?

Thermal reset seems logical. I'll call FF Monday. Thanks.

I have a 2015 (new, unused before me) FC and both Fantastic fans have failed. They've both been replaced under warranty. Problem is, all the major systems in my FC have failed to date (2 water pumps, both fans, converter, both batteries, toilet valve and thermostat. Lemon?
I'm curious you have other significant issues? I think Airstream quality control is failing and as I really love them, I am trying to figure it all out.

Those FF guys are awesome. The last time I had an issue I stopped in at Vegas Camping World and they fixed it (with replacement parts) for free. FF covered it.

Our batteries had bad cells because the dealer did not maintain them on the lot over 8 months. They were replaced under warranty during our trip having caused a change in plan. I will call FF tomorrow 16 May to discuss. We are scheduled at Paso Robles AS dealer to adjust screen door, inspect/replace faulty propane tank regulator, inspect/replace both rusting propane tanks, and adjust the stove igniter. We also had a connection for the refrigerator fan fail and problems with the refrigerator not igniting when running on propane. Another issue that was corrected by AS was the tire lug nuts. Supplied nuts were capped with aluminum and they were replaced with steel nuts at Discount Tire. These are all warranty covered items and do not fall under the description of the "lemon law". Quality control by the vendors, offshore manufacturing, and poor attention to details contribute to the frustrations of using our AS as a reliable resource while traveling. Push the envelope, document, and insist that remedy be performed promptly. Be kind whenever possible. It is always possible. The AS folks need to know that these issues are occurring.

When both of my F.F. failed, I had to turn the thermostat knob all the way 'Hot' (If memory serves me right) and then both of them worked; albeit not all the time.

The FF people are great. If they can't trouble shoot it for you or send you replacement parts.

If you're near an AS dealer, try to get the labor done under warranty if possible.

You "betcha" gecko. Hold their feet to the fire. I must say the folks at AS have stepped up to the issues. The frustration happens when enjoyment on our trip is disrupted by a need to change plans or cancell a stay.

The immediate problem of burned out fan motors is fixed. Probably burned out by low battery voltage, be sure that is addressed as well.
