2015 27FB vs 28 Flying Cloud

Can anyone tell me if there is any size difference in showers of these 2 units? I have noticed in pictures that the 28's seat takes up the entire width of the shower while 27s seat is L shaped. Having owned the 27FB, I found that having the cutout in the seat gave a bit more standing room. Your thoughts?
