I don't know what coverage you and FredL has but my quote is much higher mine included the following.

Other than collision 500.00 ded.
Collision. 500.00 ded
Towing and labor.
Transportation expense 750.00 max per accident
Vacation liability. 100000.00
Personal property. 2000.00
Agreed value. Sale price
Settlement option. Agreed value

Am I missing something? Is this too much insurance? I have tried three different companies. First company was suggested by the selling dealer. Second was from my auto insurance. Third was State Farm. My auto agent uses the same company as the dealer, safeco insurance.

Thank you, we are getting exited about our new trailer! What cool trip. We will stay close to home till I retire, but plan on longer trips then. I have read the 23d thread once already (trying to decide which trailer was for us) Iam about halfway through it again. I also read the 23fb and the 20 footer thread as well. A lot of info to say the least!

My insurance is through Cincinnati and it was just an addition to my auto policy. Now with that said I drive like an old man and don’t have any bad marks on my license. I don’t think I have any insurance on vacation loss just trailer itself.

Same as Ronnie, just covers the trailer.

Pick up trailer. 🤕🤕🤕

Well, we went down to pick up our 2015 23d yesterday. We simply paid for it but had to leave it there for another week. The reason is our tv is a 1994 Ford F-250... I know some will think that this is a problem as its old almost 25 yrs old. But it's only has 77,000 miles on it.
Last year I had a major tune up done and last week I had new shocks and a complete brake job done. Told my mechanic to check all brake lines and replace if needed. All good right?
So on Thursday night the night before we go down to pick up the trailer I say lets drive truck to town to pick up check and get oil change the give the truck a good scrubbing. This truck looks real sharp, I think, its fire engine red! What could go wrong?
Well of course a trip to town also means dinner, right? After dinner, we get in the truck and the right rear parking brake will not release! No way I say, among other not so nice words! I am no mechanic and it 8:30pm. Well I did my best and shoved the cable back towards the drum. I beat on the drum and got it to release enough to drive home, about 25 miles...still to hot to touch when we got home.
I googled it and tried a few things still too hot. So we just went down to pay for trailer and go through the the walk through. The truck goes back in to be fixed up. We will go back to pick up the trailer this Friday the 23rd. We got to spend the afternoon in our new toy. Stay tuned....
