I cannot answer your questions as I have a 2014 model....but congratulations!! And welcome to "the club" or "the club within the club"?

I thought as of 2015 the 16" Michelins were standard?

Good luck with the shakedown and keep us informed.

Just starting the process of evaluating our options when it comes to a trailer with a bunkhouse. Is it possible to order an AS with dual XL twins or fulls instead of a shortened queen in the front? I do not see a list of options on the web and if these are built to order, what are the options? Thanks!

It was not for me - but it would be great - although I vacillate about the question - I never pushed for it but officially definitely was not an option

A glimmer of hope that I did not need to spend the extra $700 but I was planning on it.

Just looked at the build sheet. Drum brakes and 15 inch tires. That bums me out a bit.

The 16" tires and wheels are standard, so far, on the 2015 31' Classic and a no penalty build option on the Eddie Bauer trim line. One can have the conversion done at the factory for all other models with 15" tires and wheels (SenDel does make a 14" bolt pattern wheel to upgrade the smaller trailers), but the trailer comes off the line on 15" tires and wheels and gets towed to the service center for the conversion. The take offs are then carried back to production, thus saving Airstream some costs and lining their pocket at full price for then 16" conversion.

I am so excited I can hardly stand it. After a long unsuccessful search for a gently used International Signature we ended up buying one of the few remaining new 2014 FC Bunkhouse 30'. It will be delivered next week. I will post pics. YAY!

AS newbie

Picked up our 2014 bunkhouse last Saturday. The whole family is ecstatic. I understand the lack of sleep thing.

We had a relatively nice box trailer first. It was a good thing to get all the kinks out the first year in a trailer one third the cost.

The one thing that's got me worried though is the level of problems listed here. Electrical issues, water leaks, tank gauge calibration, cabinet hinges that come apart, an awning hook that breaks regularly. I had issues with my first trailer but they were all cosmetic.

Are there AS owners out there who didn't have any issues? I need a little positive feedback.

I had a sail switch stick in the furnace - easy fix - but it was the only cosmetic failure per se

The drawer latches !! They simply will fly out in transit unless you make a fix - either get dealer to swap the catches for something stronger or install a couple hooks and use a bungee - or get those travel latches - something - anything to do the job

I have a 2014 - iggywalker does too - same problem

Check the screws in the overhead storage doors - if loose and stripped remove screw - add toothpick and use wood glue and re screw

No problems have kept is from enjoying our travels though so it has been no problem for us beyond these small gripes that I will have them address

Have fun!! And pictures please!

Has anyone installed an inline surge protector in a bunkhouse? I'm trying to find a good location but there is no room.

A few pics of the inside of our new Bunkhouse

Very excited that our new 2014 Bunkhouse arrived. We stayed in it two nights so far and I feel AS obsessed. Love it. I just need to quickly immerse myself in the owners manual now and educate myself on how to use it. As of now we have plugged it in to 50 amp service but haven't yet hooked to water or sewer. Here are some picks of the inside. We removed the factory bedding, pillows, etc. and added our own. Here are some pics. Hope u like!
