1) right next to water pump - this one was hard to find as it can be obscured by other crap in that small area under those drawers - that heat duct panel pops out - that will help - as the drain cut off is under that hose. This is the low point drain for water servicing the macerator toilet.

2) hot water tank is in exterior storage compartment - just next to it is a low point drain.

3) between the tires drivers side are two valves that are low point drains.

I think that is it.

Couple of questions:

1. Does anyone know where the tanks are located in a 2014 30' bunk? I am moving my table from the standard location to the "front bedroom" area. In fact I'm moving the entire dinette there. The table for the screws look to be long enough to penetrate through the subfloor. Don't want to hit anything below. I doubt there is a tank there, but figured I'd ask.

2. Where have people installed solar? I haven't gotten up on the roof to measure (it's full of snow right now), but I'm thinking either 2x100 or 3x100. Could also do 2x160 if they'll fit. Looking to see where the best spot might be. I'm going to utilize the prewire so can't go much above 300w. My inclination is to put one panel on one side and the second on the other to "split the difference" and always have one panel toward the sun (from either side), but I'm interested to hear counter-arguments. Perhaps lining up the panels on the street side and then trying to orient the trailer that way is better?

Getting the narrower 100 watt AM Solar panels allowed us to get nine on the roof of our 2014 31' Classic. We had four on each side outboard of the A/C units and one in the middle forward.

Could you have fit the larger 100w panels outboard of the A/C?

I'm looking to put between 2 and 4 panels.

The constraint is the width. The AM Solar GS-100 panels we used still allowed one's hands between the solar panel and the A/C shroud for maintenance.

We removed the original crank-up television antenna on both trailers and gained a spot for the front panel on the 23D. We installed the Winegard Rayzar antenna which allows for TV in strong signal areas. For us, most TV is now rubbish, so books and DVD movies are our preferred entertainment.

Scott, I just put 500W, five of the am solar on my new 2017 23D. I couldn't lay it out like Switz did above, I was planning to, but the roof was different in terms of spacing, and vents and such. I plan to post on another thread tonight my install process, and will post a picture here if you want. I essentially put three in a row in the curbside, and two up front on the street side. I was able to get two of them up against the AC unit on the side, with room for maintenance.

Because in theory, I *MAY* be upgrading to a new bunkhouse, is there any folks on here that have a 2015 and above model following this thread? I really want to glean from any and all owners of the ducted models to find out if they have had any real headaches as a result of having the AC units within this configuration.

Thanks!

No decision will be made till mid june at least...but if anyone knows me, I can certainly think out loud heavily until a decision is made.

The mods continue. Decided to replace the lounge with a full length countertop.
