2013 23d Inverter

This weekend we tried to use the factory 600 W inverter. Tried the three outlets that had the blue inverter sticker. Nada

What am I missing?

Turned on the inverter button above the stove. Glows solid red. Found the actual inverter, and the top and bottom lights were on. Manual said they had the correct color for power in and 110v available.

Checked the circuit breaker switch, on the inverter, seemed to be correct.

Anyone have any thoughts?

Chuck

I found one of the three inverter outlets on my FC 20' had the label on the wrong outlet, but doubt that all three would be mis identified. I switched cover plates on the one which was wrong.

Some inverters have a GFCI built into them. Is it possible yours has one and it has tripped out? I don't know your inverter.

I wondered if there was a gfci breaker but did not see one on the schematic.

I can't tell you what the trouble is either...you are doing everyting correctly...at least that's how our 600w inverter works. If it is a GFCI trip, the breaker for the GFCI circuit is in the fuse/breaker panel where the converter is...turn the breaker off all the way and then flip it back on to reset. (You can't reset the GFCI outlets at the outlet like you do in a household setting.) Good luck!

Thanks everyone. Sounds like I might have a larger warranty issue. Guess I'll make an appointment with the dealer.

Thanks all....

Figured it out.

Out of the inverter was a connector. Only two of the three wires were connected. Took the connector apart, reseated the wire, snapped it together, all works great.

If you are going to attempt, be careful. There is 110v down there.
