Would love to have the shades which appear to be standard in some of the newer models, especially on the Signature and Serenity models. Can they be had thru AStream directly? And, if so, where should I go to place my order?

Thanks in advance and Happy New Year to all.

TB

My Silver Streak has day/ night shades on all but the kitchen and bathroom windows which feature miniblinds. This works well on a practical basis.

We just spent our first week in the new 2015 Bunk and wish we had the mini-blinds in the main living area. Facing neighbors windows on both sides we would prefer to let the light in while blocking us from them and them from us.

Does this mean the window coverings are shades with no day/night option?

I find that even on the overcast days that the day option is more than sufficient for privacy. Miniblinds best for bath and kitchen where conditions and cleaning are tougher.

They are up or down. You can hook them on the window open handles about a third open but that is. You see straight out and they see in. Blinds allow one to angle them to let light in while having a bit of privacy.

Day shades superior to miniblinds as one has both light and privacy. No glare through the slat gaps. Check them out before spending on change.

Ocean Air shades

Has anyone installed Ocean Air window shades in a 2014 FC? If so, where can they attach so that the existing standard curtains will still open/close? We're hoping to learn of a shade option just for the center flat front & rear windows that might be easier to "operate" than the curtains. Climbing over the bed or dinette table to open/close the curtains requires quite a contortionist or at least two people. And the velcro isnt holding up to being opened/closed often.

Any other shade (room darkening) option recommendations welcome too.

Thx
