Yes and I will sell both to you if you want.

Yamaha brand at Costco? I just checked our store in Fort Myers, FL and they do have the SmartTools and it does have a Yamaha engine and says Yamaha big on the sign. Maybe Mary Ester is different.

Okay, there are two 2000 watt generators from Honda that you need. One is the su2000 and the other is the 2000 watt companion. There is a wiring harness that allows you to plug into both generators linking them in Parallel. You then have 4000 watts and about 28 amps to use. This will power one air conditioner not two. They units cost around $1000 each. They are very quite and will not drive your other campers to violence due the noise. They each weigh less than 40 pounds. There is an aftermarket supplemental fuel tank that holds like 15 gallons of fuel and feeds both generators so you can use them for several days without refueling. A super nice thing to have. The units have tiny gas tanks that only hold about a gallon of fuel. If you have two air conditioners and want to run both you will need to spend over $4000 on a Honda 6500 or 7000 watt generator. It is larger and weighs around 300 pounds. If you buy the small units, go to a motorcycle shop and buy a cable lock so you can lock your small easy to steal generators to a tree.

My local Costco is out of generators at the moment. I purchased a smarter tools generator with the Yamaha engine two years ago and converted it to run on gas/propane and gasoline.

Great generator. Same money and get the newer Smarter tool generator. Dave

Thanks for all of you I put, finally got time to test at Colorado Springs , KOA .
Follow you instructions to start both, but with out smart button, plugged one the the other and ac works great it gives me enough power using the adapter to run ac, frig, tvs what else does a man need? 3000 running watts 😎 Have only 1100 bucks plus 90 bucks for spliter. Again thanks for your help.

At the price you're quoting, I'm more certain that you do NOT have Yamaha generators, but the "Smarter Tools" 2000iq generators with a Yamaha MZ80 engine. I don't mean to say it's not a good generator, it's just a different critter. I'm glad to hear that they're working well for you, I'm considering buying one for when I don't need air conditioning because my 3kw Yamaha is kinda heavy.

Are your generators blue (Yamaha)? Or are they red (smarter tools)?

PERFECT. Yours is the opinion I've been looking for! Someone w/ the Smarter Tools generators who's used them for camping and has paralleled them. The only issue you've had is that you have to have the eco mode turned off when starting the AC, and otherwise they work well? Similar noise level to the more expensive Honda 2000 everyone seems to own?

Yes they work the only thing I didn't test was length of run time they worked well. Less money.

I am waiting on my 2017 28' International Serenity. I'm getting ready to retire so we're starting the wheels in motion. I have a Honda EU6000i for emergency power on my house. I live on the water in VaBeach and have had plenty of opportunity to use it. I have a sub panel set-up to the main CB panel so it's easy to bring it online. It has been extremely reliable so that experience pushed me to the Honda EU2000i and EU2000i companion for our AS. I went a step further and had them converted to propane. I just didn't want to haul around gasoline. I have a Ford F-250 diesel so I figured a third fuel type was too much. We won't see our AS until August. Today I unpacked the E2000s and ran them for several hours on one propane tank. I was very impressed with how quiet they are and easy to start. I. Connected them in parallel and connected an air compressor an other appliances to see how they responded. They ran just fine never bogged down or indicated an overload. I can't wait to use
them on the road.
