Second AC

Does anybody know if my 27FB Int is pre-wired for a second A/C in place of one of the fans. I was thinking about adding a 13.5 to my bedroom area and friend said that his trailer (excel 5th wheel) was A/C and D/C wired pre-wired. He said he took his fan out and dropped in a second A/C in less then an hour.

There was nothing in the documentation of my 27FB that suggested so. Only things mentioned were satellite and solar pre-wire. You could try Airstream Customer Service and pose the question to them.

If you find anything out please let us know. We do travel alot in hot weather, and have found that once we pull into our spot, we turn on both fantastic fans and put the a/c on Fan on hi. We let all that run while we set up then turn the a/c on, close up everything and it gets cool within 15 minutes. We've done this on recent trips to Ga, SC and Tenn and were very comfortable day or night. Having said that, an extra ac in the bedrm would be nice!

Called Air Stream customer service today. They said only the 30 ft and larger models are pre-wired for a second A/C. They also said I would need to fish a wire and put in another breaker most likely.
