Our 2016 is here! Amazingly, no one hyperventilated.

My husband and I met at the dealership yesterday afternoon to pick up some paperwork, and we received quite a pleasant surprise: our 2016 International Signature 28 was delivered yesterday morning! John was already in the trailer when I arrived, grinning from ear to ear.

We don't have much in the way of photos at the moment. The Airstream hadn't been prepped yet, the shades and blinds were all closed, and it was over 100 degrees inside. I've attached a photo for a sneak peek-- I really do love that salsa ultraleather. I can't wait to see the colorful custom awnings all rolled out for the first time.

We are close to ready. The RAM 2500 diesel arrived on June 2 and it sure is pretty (I am not ashamed to admit that the behemoth has completely changed the way I drive, and truthfully... that's a good thing). We've acquired just about everything on our "must have" list and accomplished almost everything on our "to do" list. The good people at the dealership will soon be ready to walk us through our unit and I'm even looking forward to the towing lessons.

The only hitch in our plans at the moment is-- literally-- the hitch. The folks at ProPride are apparently working overtime to build hitches and still cannot ship fast enough to meet demand.

Moderators, may we please have the trailer selections in the profiles and "about me" areas updated to add the 2016 model year?

Congrats on the new arrival. My 2016 arrived at the dealer in Tampa yesterday & anxiously waiting to "rap my hitch around it". Love that color sofa. Enjoy!

I am guessing that you bought that beauty at Holiday in ABQ. We have always found them great to deal with and we did have some problems when we bought our 2010 FC 28' They handled everything with courtesy and efficiency.

Enjoy!

Congratulations on your package - new 28' and a new truck to go with it. Now to get a hitch to go in between!

She's purty allright. Congratulations, and welcome aboard. Many GREAT times in front of you. Now GET OUT THERE and have some FUN!
Make your list of "to get" items AS you camp, not before. The color of that couch and the beautiful interior makes me a bit jealous too. That is just beyouteefull!
Sea ya down the road,
Gavin

Just a personal thought, life is just too short to spend too much time surrounded by all neutral colors! Love your choice............

Yes, we ordered it from Holiday. They have been great to work with-- very nice people!

We chose a stripe that includes shades of red, burgundy, browns, and orange. It may sound horribly loud, but it looks great with the salsa ultraleather, floor and cabinetry of the International Signature.

I'll post some photos when we are finally able to take the Airstream out.

We'd like to replace the sofa in our 72 AS. The picture of that sofa looks like the same dimensions as ours. Does anyone know a) will a new AS wrap-around sofa fit in a 72 (sovereign) and if so, b) does AS sell the sofa separate?

Looks beautiful, what was the time frame from when you ordered your AS to when it was delivered?

It is truly gorgeous, and I love the ultra leather color, too.
