Is is easily removable if one would want to use the stove burners. It's not a big deal for us as we rarely use the stove top for cooking.

Here are a few pictures.

Love this cover for your stovetop! We have a mini and it is stored in top of pull out pantry when traveling.

I also put a semi permanent Rubbermaid mat on the floor under the Keurig & before we travel I put two thin pieces of recycled plastic packing sheets upright on either end - to keep it from getting scratched. Works perfectly.

Goose, this is the magic solution I'm looking for! What unit Keurig did you buy? This one: http://www.keurig.com/Brewers/Home/K...Brewing-System

PS- It would be GREAT if it were under 1000 watts so it could be used on battery.

I had thought last night to build this out of butcher block but then remembered how heavy that stuff is. Plywood sure does seem to be a great alternative but I'd have to figure out how to put that edge finisher around the sides like that. GREAT invention. Thanks for the pictures. Killer pink flamingo!

The neon Flamingo is Francine. We have have had her for almost ten years. She has been a constant fixture in all of the Lucys. We bought her at a Walgreen's in Stuart, Florida while visiting friend there.

Our 25RB twin had a storage cabinet under the bed that fit the Keurig perfectly. Ours is a single cup version. In the 28 we have it and the toaster in the cabinet under the sink. The location I placed it for use was on the cabinet between the sink or stove or sometimes I put it on the stove. I had a cutting board that covered the stovetop completely but it was old and has since broken. In the 28 the Keurig and toaster live on the dinette table. The only plug on the sink side is above the sink and I don't like the look of cords dangling down.
