front area options on the 30'

30 foot:

There seems to be two options for the front:
1. Bench seat that is across the front wall only
2. L-shaped bench seat
2. Recliner Chairs

This information is based on diagrams.

The diagram for option 1 shows a table which seems ideal for my use as a computer work station. However, I have yet to find a photo of this arrangement and wonder if it exists. Has anyone seen this layout? Does anyone own one?

In option 2, can the table be used as a work station with the recliner or will the user sit too far back in the recliner?

While I like the looks and the function of the recliners, I imagine the bench seat would be a better choice for use a work station.

I am considering buying an International Serenity 30 foot.

Thank you.

Hello vasi, I'm a big fan of the L-lounges; here are a few reasons:

1) lawn chair storage below armrest
2) general storage below aft-facing section
3) more storage below side-facing section (in the 30')
4) even more storage forward of aft-facing seat back
5) exterior 'basement' storage compartment on streetside (in the 30')
6) it turns into a bed
7) SOLID support for all seating surfaces (unlike standard RV sofas)
8) cheaper & easier to change cushions when the time comes
9) reasonably comfortable seating for guests
10) comfortable enough for reclining (when the guests finally leave)

We too, are about to purchase a 30' Serenity. We love the L shaped couch and we're getting it in the Taupe Ultraleather. I have had a couple folks from this forum tell me that this couch is very uncomfortable and others tell me the 2 lounge chairs are better. Since I am a Newbie, I'm trying to do all the research before ordering mine. I still maintain, as does fmrcaptevil-that there is more storage options with the L shaped couch and even though I'm sure the recliners are super comfortable, to me-they seem to waste lots of space. I'm open to hear any and all opinions, however. I just love the Serenity 30' and can't wait till the day I own it. Cheers!!

We have the 30 ft Flying Cloud. We find the front couch to be extremely versatile. The table will slide closer to the couch which makes it easier to use as a work station/computer desk. It will fold out halfway for use by one person, or if you unfold it completely it is great having a group over for a meal or game night. When not in use it folds up and leaves us with lots of floor space. We use a storage ottoman for a foot stool, and in transit we stow out bicycles in front of the couch. It's the best use of space for us.
