Awning rod?
Where the heck do you store the long awning tool? For some reason I thought when we picked up the trailer it was under the bed but I can't get it in there. We have it in the closet but it's not a very good solution since we've been on the road for over three months and the closet is really full.
Sure wish it folded in half.
On a slightly different subject I opened the awning for the first time in my life today and it just about drove me nuts. I still don't know if I really know how to use the awning. I've watched the Youtube video and read the manual but I've got a hunch it's going to take a lot more practice.

My 75 TW has a small shelf by the front window which is perfect for storing the tool and a couple of fly rods.
The operation of the awning is very simple once you get the hang of it. Practice, practice, practice...

Do you have the safari style rear bumper with storage in it? That's where mine is.

Ours is in the rear bumper as well. We could also store ours under the corner bed in that outrageously long little storage space where one can lose a million pairs of shoes lol

I like to slide it into that little hole in the frame on the side of the rear bumper storage compartment. Accessible from the outside and the curve of the bumper will keep it from sliding out on its own.

She said to me, "There's never enough room for my shoes......." Me..."really?"

Hi, I keep my awning rod in my rear bumper storage area with my sewer hose.

Another vote for the rear bumper here - we also have extra sewer hose tubes attached to the belly of our AS and i fits there too. Under the matters on the bed is also a popular storage place as long as you don't suffer from the "Princess and the Pea" syndrome!

I'm not picturing where this is. If mine wasn't sitting at a dealer I'd go investigate. Have to remember to look.

Rear bumper here, too. I put a length of Walmart non-slip shelf liner in there, too, so it and all the other metal stuff in there doesn't clank about too much.
The Zipdee awning set up is a curious one if you're new to them. I watched the video and thought that it seemed unnecessarily complicated. However, once I'd cracked it I see that it's really quite easy. When you've had to stow the awning in mega-rainstorms like we had to on many occasions this year, you get quite proficient at it!

Found the best spot. Next to the door, half way up the rod, put in a large cup holder into the wall. The cup holder will stand out just far enough to put a slight pressure bend in the rod. It Stays put and is always at hand to pull the awnings.

In my 31' ASCL I lay the rod on top of the overhead storage locker above the couch, where I also keep the fly swatter . The top of the locker has an approximate 1" lip that conceals both from sight but also makes for easy access, especially when you just have to kill that fly !

Looks like behind the couch works out best for us. Thanks for all the hints.
