23FB Dinette Table
Our 23FB dinette table is one that raises and lowers using a 3-stage telescoping pneumatic column. Has anyone else run into the issue where one of the stages appears to have lost "pressure"?
Initially, the table worked as (I believe) designed. To lower the table, release the latches (we did this one latch at a time) and push down against resistance and then re-close the latches. To raise the table, release the latches (again 1 at a time) and the table would rise by itself, although we would provide some resistance so it would rise under control.
At this point, it appears that the top stage no longer has pressure. Once we release the latch it falls by itself, and we have the awkward move of trying to "pull" it up when raising the table.
Has anyone experienced this before? Is it a DIY fix? We are going to our dealer this week, and will have them fix it, but I was just curious for future knowledge. We had brought this up in a past warranty visit and the response from the dealer was the table was working properly. Obviously, having seen it work both ways, for us something had changed.
Thanks!
Tom
