2015 International TV Reception Issue

Our new 28' International Signature model has an interesting TV reception problem.

Stated simply, using any one of the six 'built in 'SUB' charging ports for iPhone or iWatch charging, causes a complete loss of antennae acquired TV picture on either/both TV's. Removal of the device from the charging port enables the TV picture again within seconds.

A similar issue when not using the SUB ports, we also note that acquired channels are often perfect as you would expect from digital TV, but complete loss of signal and recovery happens frequently for no apparent reason.

Your advice will be appreciated!

This is weird. Not a clue! You're talking about USB ports I believe... no clue why that would effect reception.

No clue about the USB port problem. But Digital TV signals are very susceptible to interference. Leaves blowing can affect the signal. One of the places I camp is near the Columbia river. I think that ships on the river can affect the signal.

Probably interference from the regulator in the USB charger. My front fantastic fan interferes with weak signals.

You have a 2 year Airstream warrantee. Let them deal with it. The cost of an Airstream is high enough so they can fix it.

Well, thats my attitude anyway, and I love to fix things myself normally.
