Don't get me wrong about the AS, I just feel the American craftsman in general has become a dying art. We have changed to a disposable society and have adapted for faster cheaper things. I have always opted to pay a higher price for higher quality. That being said, AS has highly skilled craftsman but they are often hindered by having less time to work their magic.

Despite all the time we've spent over the past year+ dealing with warranty issues, we *love* our 2014 Airstream International Signature 27FB. Honestly, it feels like we've finally nailed most of the minor but annoying issues we've been dealing with.

There's only one feature we wish our TT had from the Classic: Chair storage behind the dinette just inside the entry door, instead of that ridiculous, huge, wedge-shaped back cushion combo.

That said, we're in no hurry to trade our baby in for a new one because we'd like to spend some time camping vs. dealing with warranty stuff, thank you very much. I expect we won't be looking at a new one for at least a couple more years, and maybe a whole lot more years.

Ditto-
After warranty issues were repaired by the fine folks at Jackson Center I am in no hurry to get another trailer.

I think every TT has its issues that once they have been ironed out we have happy time and a new found love for our purchase. It's just getting there that makes it stressful.

2015 30 ft International CCD poor quality control issues

Everyone loves their Airstream,the problem is the way they are delivered to the excited
first owner.
Fixable easy,with very little cost to Thor.They just need to pay attention to their current owner base and quit paying bloggers( You have all seen this going on on this forum) to spin the problems new owners are having instead of upgrading the quality control.Become the icon for quality in the RV industry today that they should be.Simple raise the price $5 grand or so and do it right!

LyndaMaxine, I would check in to the Fort Myers dealership on the recall if it is a safety concern and see if they can fix your leaks so you can enjoy your vacation. They are a newer Airstream dealership but they have been a dealership for RVs for years - mostly motorhomes so they should be savvy on plumbing. I am sorry to hear about your issues. It will work out. How did your ducted air fix go?

Are you listening, lyndamaxine?

@lyndamaxine

I think it would be nice if you could keep us updated on how the issues in your OP have been resolved, or not resolved.

Having purchased a few RV's I can understand how the issues of QC can take on a life of their own. Most of us on Air Forums are here to be at least a little helpful and offer some suggestions.

Please let us know how you are doing. We want to be supportive if at all possible.
