2015 27FB International Signature (new) - good price?

I think I'm about to join the Airstream family....

I got offered a nearly 19% discount on the above model with MSRP of $92k. This was the first offer, no negotiation. Good deal?

It has the following options: -

Second AC / 50A service
1000W inverter
Awnings rear, side, front
Slide out microwave

Any "must have" options I'm missing.

Thanks.

You might squeeze a tiny bit more out, but that does seem pretty decent. Ducted Air?

This is the model I am looking at also. Willing to go anywhere in country to get the best deal- trying to find an unused 2014 model. What are the best places to look? From the limited amount of research I have done, it seems like the Pacific Northwest has lots of inventory and dealers.

Thanks!

Rick

Yes, ducted air. I thought I might go for a few k more and see if he would install a WD hitch for me but I was actually pleasantly surprised with the number.

Also look at Sutton, in Oregon. Ours came from there.

You have wiggle room. Keep haggling. That was too easy.

Thanks guys and gals. I have primarily been looking at Colonial- they are organized, have a nice website and good walkthrough videos also.
Torn between the 2014 International signature 27FB and the 2014 Signature 28W. I actually like the fact that the 28 has a smaller window making it easier to sleep in a bit when sun comes up, but don't want it to be an issue if it hurts resale down the road in ten years.

Is an offer of 78% of original posted MSRP a good starting point from my side of negotiations? Thanks again!

I've ruled out the 28 due to lack of pantry space and oven/microwave issues. Looking at the 27Fb at Colonial, and two places out west. Want to come in around 78% of MSRP.
Thanks for the replies!

I just bought a 25FB in mid Dec. I would encourage you to buy from your local dealer. You WILL have things that break and need to be fixed under warranty and while they certainly wouldn't and couldn't turn you away, I liked the peace of mind that my delivery coordinator was the same guy who would be working on it. And yes, they've had to work on it already. Small stuff, but stuff. 19% is about what I got too and it was right out of the gate. Pretty substantial and I never asked for another dollar off. PS- I kind of wish I'd bought the 27FB...

Thanks chaseav, I did a little better on the discount in the end and was very happy with the deal which I guess is the main thing. Seems odd that Airstream prices them so high, I though there was no way I was getting into an International but with this level of discount it was doable. I was also looking hard at a 25FB but opted for the 27FB in the end, slightly lighter tongue (and the International is lighter again than the FC). My salesman kept saying that the 27FB was the best floor plan and that I have saved myself a fortune just jumping in with the 27 rather than starting out with a smaller trailer and ultimately upgrading once or twice. I pick it up next Friday weather permitting, we are expecting some snow here this week.....

I pick up my 27fB Signature in a couple of weeks when it comes in. I asked for 20% off and that's what I got. I'm not going to work them over for a few more dollars. Personally, I would go with the 19% off and buy from your local dealer.

The tongue weight is really a great point. The 25's tongue is some 60 lbs heavier at 833lbs which I understand includes full LP tanks. (Could be wrong on whether or not that's full.) I do plan on loading internal cargo towards the aft to help alleviate that or at least not increase it because it's pushing 83% of my trucks capacity. That may end up being the reason for my eventual regret. Otherwise, to me it seemed that all the 27 would get me is much larger pantry / closets and a longer hallway to walk down at a cost of $4000 and another 200lbs of weight.

27 FB tongue weight

Right now my 27 FB international tongue weight is at 742 lbs. I removed the spare and one propane tank to get there. I did upgrade the tires and wheels to the 16 inch rims and lt tires so didn't think it was necessary. thinking of taking one of the batteries out to reduce further.

Thanks! I'm looking at purchasing a 2015 27FB and was hoping to get an idea at what a fair offer was. This thread was helpful! Sounds like 20% off MSRP is a good offer.
