Hey Everyone,
I lost the keys to my 2010 airstream and I was wondering how to remove the locks to bring them to a locksmith. I have access to the inside so 'breaking in' isn't an issue. Thanks in advance.
Call Airstream...with your vin they should be able to give you the info needed to order the keys from the company that provides them. We got keys that way. The blanks are not available easily, for local locksmiths. You might be able to find one once you have the blank # & maker. I would not want to get a new lock, not an easy removal...that sounds like more trouble to me. Good luck.

It's not difficult. The upper latch assembly is held in place by 4 phillips-head screws on the inside. You might have to remove two screws on the edge of the door -- I can't remember.
The key blacks are not stocked by most locksmiths and have to be ordered from either Trimark or Airstream. Third-party blanks (ilco, Curtis, etc.) will not work reliably.
