Towing Services?

Hello. Thank you for this forum. So helpful.

I am shopping now for my first AS. I plan to live in it full time. I've lived in a motorhome for almost three years and love it. Now, I want to upgrade to the AS.

I have never pulled a travel trailer and, quite frankly, I am not ready to risk that without some good training. Do any of you have suggestions about how to get my AS home? Is there a place where I can hire someone to pull it and place it? I live in the Atlanta area.

Hi. Your best bet is a local airstream dealer.

My wife did not like to drive our truck, let alone pull a trailer. We hooked up with the RV Driving School and she spent a weekend with her learning to tow while I sat quietly in the back seat. By the end of the first day she was cruising strip malls and parking at Home Depot. She still does not like driving the truck but has no problem towing our trailers. The lessons were done locally while we stayed at a local Elk's lodge. The instructor was a great guy and excellent instructor. It was money well spent. I looked at their website and although they don't have anything in GA they do have instructors in nearby states. It was money well spent.
