I have just spent the better part of a so so Sunday afternoon reading this thread. Along with a couple of cold silver bullets (Coors lights for folks who don't know.) By the way they don't leak! oh well no need to get ugly. I have enjoyed reading the post all the way back to 2009. My guess is by now most if not all have found a dream date. The lady who started back on page one is one hell of a writer. I think I will take up wine and maybe my skills will improve. I really love her dream life, by God if you are going to dream why not dream big! Good for her. I have a dream too, but at my age 58 and hight, they match now!! are limiting factors. I want to pull my camper all across America and spread the word America is not dead! were just gaining strength to take on some issues which have allowed our children to loose faith in our Goverment. I will retire from the Military December 31, 2011 with 38 years of service. This country is full of wonderful young people doing and outstanding job. You can be proud of them as I am. My dream is we don't roll over and give up! fight for what you belive in! Fight for American made products and fight to see our country produces the best in the world. My dream is we don't become a second rate country to anybody! but live up to the blood that has been shead for us. My dream is we stop thinking about ourselves and start thinking about our country and what is best for it. God bless each of you and your dreams, for without dreams we are all living dead!
P.S. I dream one day I will learn to spell. LOL

we have our twice a year rally in Hiawassee Ga. Often single people are there as well as couples, and families. You are invited. Next one is the week before Halloween, look for the thread on Falluminum. We had 50 Airstreams or so last time April.

Well hi solo streamers!!! I'm glad that this thread is still going! I'm new to Airstreaming and want to build a social network of other single guys and gals to go to rally's with or set up our own. I live in Oregon, 55 yrs young, retired and own a 2011 16' Bambi. I would love to hear ideas about where, when and how to get a singles rally going. No, I'm not actively seeking a wonderful man who loves the same things as me but hey, if the opportunity arises, I'm no dummy! :>) So let's get talkin' and plannin' and see if we can meet up at a rally or get one going ourselves! Take care and have a great day! ~Cari~

Is this thread Gender specific?
AF #1

"Sticks & stones can break your bones...and hail will dent your Airstream"

So when is this..."old enough to know better" supposed to kick in?

Nope. It's not gender specific. It's for solo Airstreamers though (or that's what it appears to be). Go for it!

H-70, Don't worry about your spelling. Andrew Jackson supposedly said "It is a poor mind that can think of only one way to spell a word". It's been my mandate, although spell ck has helped. Anyone camping in CA?

I have had a great run with the Air Force. Five years of active duty Luke AFB. The balance I have been a full time member of the Arkansas Air National Guard. While I am not a native of Arkansas I love this state and her people.

Okay - sorry - I'm new here ROFL can't read and forgot how to use the forums....
That is why I deleted my post.
Thought I was on the portal but nope was way in this thread reading it - and posted a stupid post cause I am bored silly.....

Hope all the solo Airstreamers are having a good ole time out there...
Everything will be alright in the end. If it is not alright now, then it is not the end.

Great to read so many stories. I'm in my 40's & my goal is to get my airstream as soon as I can afford one, most likely close to retirement, but you never know. Thanks for sharing.
