Normal* concept

I think when I get my Bambi 19 I will enjoy traveling around to tattoo conventions and get ink by the most hippest tattoo artists in the county and have you ever had a conversation in a high end tattoo shop? very hip very relevant very now.. players get tattooed. I feel at least with a classy setup like a bambi and maybe a benz that I can travel in style and be welcome everywhere I go as a classy guy.. and fly below the radar so to speak. And then Have the mobility and where with all to easily visit and make friends and retain my independance.

Keep in mind that the image that you want to have now may not be the same image that you wish others to have of you in the future.

We are not a totally conservative bunch. You will have a great time in your Airstream. When you come to rallies, especially the Four Corners Unit (and a couple others that are bending the rules), we will make fun of your ink and you can make fun of us old fharts sitting around drinking margaritas and complaining about our aches and pains.

Welcome, Zep

If you're using a Mercedes Benz as a tow vehicle, you're not going to fly below the radar. A Mercedes as a tow vehicle ALWAYS gets noticed.

Don't let me or anyone here influence or crush your dream. If you want to pull your Airstream with a Benz get your Benz. You only live once and it is better to be sitting on the porch in your rocking chair saying "I am glad I did that" instead of "I wish I had done that". LIVE THE DREAM!

No argument. I didn't say he shouldn't, just that he won't be "under the radar" if he does. After all, my Airstream Interstate IS a Mercedes, so I should know! Can't go ANYWHERE in it without attracting attention.

Sorry, If you thought I said you did, but not pointing fingers at anyone.
There is no way anyone with a body covered with tattoos, driving a Benz and towing an Airstream is ever going “fly under the radar”. There are consequences to actions and the OP sounds very young and may not be taking everything under consideration. If he is willing to live with the consequences of his actions whatever they are, I say go for it.

Well, they're so rare, it's hard to develop any immunity to them.

I have no idea what "normal" is. Not sure I would describe myself that way.

Not saying anything bad about Normal. Normal people really are rare; according to the 2010 census, the population of Normal, IL was only 52,497. That's only 0.017% of the US population, so I'd say it's pretty rare.

Though I am more familiar with Champaign-Urbana than I am with Bloomington-Normal.

Ha!

I suspect the twin cities of Bloomington-Normal are probably close to 200,000 by now, so a little less rare.

Champaign-Urbana is about 60 miles east of Normal.

Bloomingtonians aren't Normal, so they don't count. They're only ALMOST Normal.

I have lived in both towns, am not native to either but rather tied to both after 35 years here,
