Question Washington State AS Club

I haven't found an Airstream Club in Washington state, so I'm thinking of starting one. Maybe a free one. s and non-s

Get some meets together in WA and surrounding. Any interest here?

There's a WA Unit...I'll get you the contact info but in the meantime you could contact Land Yacht Harbor. I'm leading a caravan of OR Unit members to LYH for their annual crab feed

I didn't see that they were affiliated with this sight Bill. I was thinking a more informal group maybe, anyway was just putting it out there. I will look into this club, see if I can justify $90 a year... I mean that's almost a full tank of gas

Here's the other WA group. We are a lot smaller, and most rallys are buddy rallys (anyone can come).

Hey there man7sell...let me know if you want details...I believe they're looking for registration to be in by mid April. BTW...we're all bringing our vintage or repro bikes and are planning to ride around LYH in our pjs Saturday morning

As mentioned WBCCI has a unit that covers your area. With that unit comes a long-lived organization that is always looking for (and would benefit from) new members.

If you want something less formal why not consider a "club" of Washington state Airforums members. In Airforums terms a "club" is simply a group of persons who wish to participate in chats, theads, etc. of the "club."

I guess what I'm suggesting is... Why the need for a new club? WBCCI is a formal club and Airforums is the Un-Club. The Un-Club has lots of advantages - you don't need to spend any money and only need to invest some time. Presto - you have a Washington state "club." Organize some rallies, see what happens. I suspect you'll find WBCCI and Airforums meet your needs.

You can also join the Airstreamer's Club which is somewhere between the two Lucius mentioned. I am sure it slipped his mind when he posted just the two. There are 9 members in Washington State and I am sure they would love to get together with you.

Hi, we are WBCCI members and also members of the 4corners group,4CU. We have just moved back to Port Townsend and would love to get involved with a group in the North West. I will be checking out LYC as well. Mike

Hey Blondin....I see that you live in Yakima. There are two members of the Oregon Unit of the Wally Club (aka WBCCI) that live there as well - one of them "goransons" has a thread on AirForums called '63 Safari - It "Bee' Traded (#8671). We would love to have you join us at one of our 2013 rallies - the first is in March @ the Timberlake RV Resort (Washington side across the Gorge from Cascade Locks) and we have one closer to your home in June in the Tri-Cities. We're a pretty fun-loving group..having just "urban camped" at the local Airstream dealer for our first annual AS Holiday Open House. Here's a link to our Facebook page....http://www.facebook.com/OregonWallyClub?fref=ts

Safe travels -
Mona

We are members of the "other" Washington club, the North Cascades Unit, and welcome you to any event. Our club is small, has around 4-5 rallies a year. In April on Whidbey Is, May in Lynden, July Stanwood, & August Hoodsport.

We enjoy the Oregon units events, and also attend the BC units, both are fun and welcoming groups.

Debbie
