A club for old WBCCI PIPs motorhomers to go when their Airstream motor home dies or is just too lame to get down the road and they have to buy a new one. Looks like it is company sponsored. A new life with old friends.

Yes 2air,
It is a re-naming of the Mandalay Club that was headed back in 2007 by Club President Jack Finlay. Remember back during the the Class A issue in Perry. I had called Mr Finlay to ask if he knew that the WBCCI club officers at the time were telling us members the Mandalay owners were excited about joining WBCCI. To this he said, no, they had worked hard to build the Travel Club and weren't interested in joining another.
Having heard that, then, this new article about the revamped Mandalay Club to encompass all THOR Class A diesels, was presented as a link here to show old Airstream Class A owners have a club to belong when the airstream is sold or traded.
I even registered on the WBCCI forum so I can post this link there to see if it will last, but so far my registration info has not been accepted yet.
Hmm.

Airstream motor homes are out of production... rename the club and let other Thor motorhomes in? Where have we heard that before? There seems to be a commonality under Thor.

Everyone is welcome here and free to post, even if you do not have an RV. It looks like you are doubly qualified to come a member of TAC, WBCCI, and/or Airforums and be welcomed to any of their rallies.

Yeah, it's really sad (and pathetic) that THOR has not followed thru with the promise of a new "classic" to be released way back in 2005.

You are correct, too bad that they realized there was no market and since they are a profit oriented company, they decided not to loose money on a new classic motorhome.
