Because I only travel 5 MPH over the speed limit and am always the slowest thing on the road, I think I qualify, but starship enterprize (earthbound by slime) is getting to be a rreeaall mouthful.

A lot of folks only know Zep by Zep. Some one came by our camp once and was looking for him by his other name and we sent them on cause no one knew who they were looking for.
hey Zep, I just emailled you our application, need you to look at it and add a better camp plan before I hit the submit button.

Oh, and our snails don't like winter salt either, I have a stainless steel post I use for flag pole I gotta replace cause of road salt.

Snail Club

Slowmover should get to be a vice-president by virtue of his name.

I too have had the problem of looking for Zep when I used his first name—which is much easier to spell than Zepillumianistic or something. If you look for slowmover, people may know him by Rednax.

I think I drive too fast to be a snail, but maybe can be a member of the auxiliary of Superchargedsnails.

Yeah, it's an old trucker term for moving a load down the highway below the prevailing speed. Was incumbent on one to alert other drivers via CB, "westbound, slow-mover in the right lane at the 362 mile marker"

More than once I've been reading the rearview and seen a set of big trucks overtaking me over a mile back and used the CB for the same reason when in this personal rig.

(The term fit: As in sig, 15-cpm solo [15-mpg towing] and 25-cpm solo [or 25-mpg solo]. The rig -- as a whole -- chosen for longest life with greatest reliability at lowest fuel burn. The travel speed part of the means to that end.)

Berets & snails: The Frenchman at his lunch.

Flamingo food.

This may not be taking the direction wanted for a club.

I officially retact my claim to the nickname "the snail" for anyone who would like to have it as there own. She is developing a personality that does not fit the sail moniker.

I declare myself USA member #1 of Snail Tribe, International. Rules to follow soon, something on the order of 4CU's rules.

It is nice that you have "seen the light", but you are about 13 years late in your adoption of the snail as your marque...
