Forging New Frontiers
This is what it's all about. I sorta became "persona non grata" in the WB world after the Airforum thread I started last year.....and this is what I think about that.... (that was the clean version)
Looking forward to a TAC rally in the near future.

I am listed as a cordinator for this new club so I am going to do just that... you want a rally? Put out the word and they will come. Everything about The Airstreamer's Club will be volunteer. The system is very simple that way, you get out of it what you put into it.
Anyone want to volunteer helping with getting a website going? At some point a hat will need to be passed to pay for some hosting though...

Let the masses gather when the club is listed!!! Let us show some support there so that we can keep the ball rolling and see a Nationalwide TAC develop. I have a feeling this as a test bed for interest and is only the begining of something great to come. This can be a great experience for all to have "More Fun and Just Camp."
I am in with both feet, now olny if I can find the darn trailer under all the snow.

Carol, I'm not sure about this, but your elf's shoe is one of a pair that I spirited in and wore during my dissertation defense (a long time ago)!

WOW!!! Lynn, should we start the first sub club? I'm with you! Those Classic patent leather types will have to start their own PAC.

In that case perhaps the Troubadours would be the official sponsor. I do like when they called themselves the sons of hitches.

I am on that - I will donate the hosting space - just point that domain name over to me and it will be running..... Oh - and I set it up so y'all have full control and access to the site - no secrets.

I can offer help for a web site and lots of other things but am not willing to do so until there is a little more structure to the organization. What "more" can there be? Well, some protection for those who are driving the organization is definitely in order.
I do not mean to rain on anyone's parade and I am OVERJOYED that this has been started. I tried to energize folks on this here forum a year and a half ago to start a new club and did not get sufficient support. A new club is definitely needed and this is indeed wonderful to be a part of.
Collecting money to support any part of this organization without a minimum of legal structure opens the door to many ways this can all go terribly wrong. As soon as money is involved everything changes.

I'm going to miss all of the junk snail mail I've been getting from that other club - but I know more about resort campgrounds and insurance now!
