it seems to me...

Everything related to this club would properly be considered tacky

In that case perhaps the Troubadours would be the official sponsor. I do like when they called themselves the sons of hitches.

Anyone want to volunteer helping with getting a website going? At some point a hat will need to be passed to pay for some hosting though...
I am on that - I will donate the hosting space - just point that domain name over to me and it will be running..... Oh - and I set it up so y'all have full control and access to the site - no secrets.

I can offer help for a web site and lots of other things but am not willing to do so until there is a little more structure to the organization. What "more" can there be? Well, some protection for those who are driving the organization is definitely in order.

I do not mean to rain on anyone's parade and I am OVERJOYED that this has been started. I tried to energize folks on this here forum a year and a half ago to start a new club and did not get sufficient support. A new club is definitely needed and this is indeed wonderful to be a part of.

Collecting money to support any part of this organization without a minimum of legal structure opens the door to many ways this can all go terribly wrong. As soon as money is involved everything changes.

I'm going to miss all of the junk snail mail I've been getting from that other club - but I know more about resort campgrounds and insurance now!

Tom, our first official rally is at a resort. Cows in California wish they had it so nice and California cows are very happy cows... or so the ad says on TV.

Count us in on this new club. We winter in Quartzsite, Az an that would be an excellent place to have a rally in the winter time. Summertime it is tooooooo hot in this area.

good number Rodney... I am MD #1.... going to the sign shop monday to have my 10" tall black numbers made up.

Oh yeah, the rules are any font, any style, any size, anywhere you want to put them.

Just wait till you see the new logo... I wish I could show it now, but you will have to wait. Web site under construction... it is all falling into place

The key is YOUR participation. The more you give the stronger the experience is for everyone. We are ALL in this together.

You mean no stringent rules, no backroom shenanigans, and the idea is to have fun, camp, and enjoy each other's company??
Count us in and keep us posted.

MI-1 reporting in.

I think I saw a rough draft of the logo, and it is really cool. Do you know the color scheme of the logo yet Frank, or do we just have to wait and see?
