Glad to see we have another WI TACster.

ASTICO??? Too funny!! I used to live just a few miles from there... in fact, I was the 4H horse project leader for "Astico Perserverence" for 2 yrs. We actually camped at the park last summer when we had to cancel our reservations at Wyalusing due to unforseen circumstances. It's a nice little park, and as you said, not too far! The kids loved the playground.
Are you speaking of Dave & family in Sparta??? We've been talking to them and talking about a get-together sometime this summer. So we just may run into each other yet!

My mothers side of the family are all from Columbus... as I am sure your know, the Astico park is just on the edge of town (Columbus, that is)
Yup, Dave and Dori are hosting the rally up in Sparta. That is a great place to bring the bikes for the Elroy/Sparta trail... the kids love trekking thru the three train tunnels... you can see the light at the end of the tunnel, but you can't see your hand in front of your face.
BTW, you'll have to tell me about the Donkeys... and I'll tell you about our chickens.

Not an ID per se, just a number. It's the only official thing as far as I know. Well that and it's a rule that we have fun.

I don't think it's bad, you’re not scaring me off with this slight attempt at possible tracking and organization. I just wondered since my husband told me I’m NH3. I’m in great company as 1# is my husband and Deb is #2. I feel a fun little group coming on... I’m sure at some point I will not be the only one to ask the “question”. So how many are we?
Just knowing may help me pick a central location should I decide to host a TAC rally.
Robin
PS I reviewed the selected clothing options and I already have a pair of Sequined Ruby Slippers" & the powder blue socks to match. So I guess I'm in.

If you want to know about TAC numbers, Rob explains it in the POD cast at Welcome to the Frontpage - The Vintage Airstream Podcast or in Rob's case maybe he doesn't, depends on how he sorts the spread sheet. As to a TAC rally, I was considering a BBQ at TCPC this summer to meet other TAC minded, info about them can be found at www.tcpconline.com

Ordered numbers
I ordered two TX-10 vinyl numbers to go on my front and back windows. Bright yellow!

I think I am getting a set for myself also. I chose Orange with a Green shadow. This goes with the 70's interior and exterior striping of my Overlander.
I've discussed this with a friend and we agreed that I would have the numbers made so that TAC is a smidge larger than my CT-6.
sorta like:
TAC CT-6

Hello to you, IA-5. We just returned from a caravan with the CAC down in Louisiana. It was a good trip, and we were glad to get away from Iowa snow. Will we see you at the Region 8 Rally in Fremont? We're anxious to get back on the road again and have fun with Airstreamers.

Hi IA-1! We will not be making it to Freemont, but hope to attend Region 8 another year. Perhaps we will see you somewhere around Iowa this year. Anyone else from IA or nearby?

I've been so consumed with trailer issues that I haven't paid a lot of attention to the thread on TAC... I signed up a while back, but hadn't been in email communication. I just sent a mail to Rob, so maybe I will know what my # is-- and I fan-ed the facebook site- hadn't known about that. *sigh* I'll keep trying to catch up!!
