If you can do trip planning on a computer, try RV Trip Wizard.
I'm just starting, and it has some hurdles, but it does a lot of things.

I wish someone would combine Google maps, Calendar, and trip planning in one interface. Put a pin on a campground, it calculates the distance, adds it to your calendar and shows the campground details.

Unfortunately some of these discount clubs don’t disclose the 24 hours wait, after processing, period in any information you see up front. I found the same problem with Passport America last year and I had purchased it in the morning to use that same evening. I also couldn’t call because they weren’t open after 5:00pm. Luckily we did use it just enough on our trip to pay for itself. I noticed when they sent the renewal information that the price had gone up quite a bit, so I didn’t renew.

Good Sam is a solid value if you stay at commercial RV campgrounds. Otherwise it is an overpriced discount card that new owners try and generally discard if they aren’t using it for the campground discounts.
