Airstream forums

We want to put the big blue numbers on our trailer. Where would you purchase these?

Nothing official about them so Any print shop should be able to make them up to your specifications.

What you are looking for is vinyl due cut lettering with an adhesive back. You can get these made at just about any sign shop.

I assume you are referring to blue Forums numbers and not the WBCCI big red numbers.

Related question: How does one show both numbers? I'm assuming that we will join WBCCI when we get our Airstream.

When we joined the Wbcci, we were already members of the Forum. I asked if the same number was available. We were able to get them. I went to a local sign company and decided of an "Old Glory " background. We also thought about alternate colors and also a "shadow" effect.

So WBCCI isn't as particular about the numbers being a particular shade of red? What happens if we can't get the same number for both WBCCI and Airforums?

Do what you want. The club numbers do not have to be permanently attached. Many members mount them on a separate plexiglass board and only display them at rallies.

How big do you think the numbers should be? We would mount above the windows in standard fashion. We've never had numbers before so I'm clueless

Because this is basically a "club" and a way to look up someone is by their number. And... IT'S FREE. Lol. I will not pay to be a part of WBCCI. The cost wouldn't benefit us at the time... I think of air forums as the club I belong to. More and more are displaying their numbers.

WBCCI only insists that their numbers ARE red. Red just happens to be the worst color for sun-fading, so after you put on the red numbers, they will eventually become a duller shade of red than when they were new. That makes it kind of hard to insist that they be a particular shade.

Most of the time we know our Forum Friends by their Forum name not their Forum number. Many just have the oval Air sticker to say we post or just hang out on Airforums.

Dumb question, but in a certain way, even after a few years, we are still new to this (after out Westy times). Where would I get the "Air" sticker?

You get a sticker when you become a supporting member.

Exactly. I have no idea what my number is, nor where to find it. It's not in my profile.
