Well, I took my new 2009 out for its first trip on Memorial Day and was disappointed to find I had not one but 3 leaks. One on a window, one in the sunroof and one in the back Fantastic fan. Hopefully, these are easily fixed by the dealer when I take it in for its first service trip at summer's end. I'm a bit surprised that a luxury trailer would have such defects as they test for this during production (at least that's what they show in the A/S build videos). Everything else works fine so far and my family and the other campers who knocked on my door at the state park to get a tour loved it as well.

Our 2009 Cloud had a fantastic fan leak. Upon inspection, I found the main frame of the fan broken by over zealous screw tightening at install. LONG drive to dealer, so I called Fantastic Fan and received stellar service. They sent out a new fan for free for me to replace. All went well, and leak is fixed.

Mary and I took our AS to the dealer for some 'final adjustments' following our 4th trip out. TourAmerica RV/Bretz did a thorough leak test, found several and went to work. They replaced several of the seals around windows...in particular...the emergency window leaked like a sieve. They found that both of the flashings around the Fantastic Fans were cracked due to over-torqueing during installation. All was fixed.

Since I've been having pretty extreme health problems, as soon as I was finished with my first of 3 surgeries, we hopped in the truck, headed up the Big Horns and spent 2 nights at my favorite campground on Tensleep Creek. I was simply elated to finally be at that location with my Airstream! It was an awesome experience after camping in that spot 40+ times over the last 10 years in a tent.

We love this camper!

Mary and I ended up spending an entire weekend without hot water because of a wire that had pulled loose from the back of the water heater switch. The tech who looked at it, diagnosed and corrected the problem said I was close to losing the bathroom ceiling light also.

Evidently the wires were not installed with enough slack to allow a relaxed connection. This is quite disappointing to me and I just hope that the person who cut these wires too short did not wire the entire trailer!

Anyone else have this type of problem?
