This is our "new" Airstream! She is a beauty! We are very excited to learn all about Airstreams. We are complete novices and have so many questions! We just took her on our first trip and noticed perhaps a leak around the sewage pipe, the waste tank. Any information or advice would be GREATLY appreciated!

Congrats on your purchase! And welcome to the Airforums. Keep reading, there is a ton of info here!

I hope the seller showed you pictures of the restoration being done and the frame? She looks beautiful but if there's one common thread to all Airstreams, it is that they ALL leak. An almost fifty year old trailer that never leaked simply is not realistic.

Take a good look at the flooring in all the hidden spots! Was floor ever replaced?

Do you mean a leak around the toilet flange or? Pictures would surely help!

By the way, check out the link in my signature for the spare tire cover. We are still looking for backers for a reproduction run. It would be an AWESOME addition to your trailer (and period correct)!
