This ad is very similar to another for a vintage AS:
1) contact form that is in the ad, which circumvents Ebay "Ask a question"
2) will reject bid if you don't contact seller first
3) starting bid $200
4) 3 day duration
5) no interior pictures
6) same final price of $10,200 in red as other scam
7) same disclaimer as in other scam ad
8) no VIN number
9) new account with NO history

I spoke with the seller and as soon as I said I wanted the vin and I wanted to visit the trailer, he hung up.

drussel, thanks for posting this info on the forums. We were discussing the same Argosy on the eBay scams! section of the forum.

There have been several of these scams cropping up on eBay lately. All of these scams seem to have the same warning signs - biggest one is contact outside of eBay.

If you are looking for an Argosy/Airstream, there are deals out there that are legitimate. Good luck on your search!
