First off, Welcome to the forums! But, I think we may need a little more info to give you input...what condition is it in? What is the asking price? Do you have any pictures?

Welcome to the Forums, Jimbcole. It will be hard for anyone to answer your question. The answers would depend on the condition of the unit, whether the systems are functioning, whether it is in towable condition, whether you intend to restore it, or if it has been restored.
With a rig of that age, it will be a challenge and a cash-sink unless everything goes perfectly all the time.
We look forward to learning more about you and the rig.
Pat

Also, this is pretty cool...it's a copy of the original specifications brochure.

Interior looks original. Painted ceilings and walls, 2 single beds, folding dining table in front section. Original Princess stove, some veneer coming off of cabinets.
Original looking fixtures

Yep! The outside looks really nice...it the inside is 1/2 as nice, I'd go for it as long as the price is reasonable!
Looks like it hasn't moved in quite awhile...it'll definitely need some attention before towing.

I say go for it. But as Shari said make sure to get all running gear, tires, brakes, and lights up to par before moving it anywhere.
Good luck

Yes (for the right price).....
Your're probably looking at a new axle, rims, tires, brakes..... just to get her down the road to start with. Leaf spring axle?
How far to get her home on the existing running gear? That would be good to get started on all the other stuff.
Still a YES from me.... but we all love aluminum and want to see them all rescued to good homes.

OOooops! Didn't see page 2 of the thread for a little while. Thanks for all the posts. Yes, it hasn't moved in many years. This is going to be a weekend project getting it out of this location. Trees have grown in the path that it followed to it's current destination. These same trees can't be cut to get her out of there! I'll have to drag her a few feet on the maypops, until I can get her on level ground to change the one tire and see if she'll roll at all. First leg of her journey will be 27 miles. Pit stop, then another 25. Shooo Mercy! I couldn't see if she has leaf springs or not. I would imagine so. Undercarriage looks good, tongue looks good. Suicide door has a padlock! :-)

This looks like a very nice find. The body looks great with all the windows intact. If the price was right, I would buy it. Getting it out of it's location may be a challenge, but take it slow and you should be fine.
A 59 should have leaf springs.
