Some friends of my parents took me to International Rally that was held in 1962 for the Seatle Worlds Fair. I am trying to find out the details of the trailer they had. The only info I know is the WBCCI #6162. Any leads would be appreciated.

From the WBCCI #6162 we could provide some information about who that number was assigned to and if those people went on any recorded caravans, but the Wally Byam Caravan Club International (WBCCI) did not keep records of the Airstreams owned by club members, so we cannot help you identify your freind's parent's Airstream from their WBCCI #. Sorry.

Thanks for your help. The trailer owners were Carl and Doris Sturgeon from Springfield Illinois. The 1962 International Rally for the Seattle Worlds Fair that was held in Auburn, WA. Thank you for your patience with my trying to figure out the Forums. I read them but have not posted to them. Thanks again for your help.

You are correct that the 1962 WBCCI International Rally was held in Auburn, WA so that club members could attend the World's Fair. According to WBCCI Membership Directories (as of 1967), Karl & Doris Sturgeon were from Illinois, though had changed from Springfield to Champaign by 1967 (the last year I checked). They participated in Caravan 42 - Mexico Winter 1965. That is about all I can tell you about them, though. I have no way to tell what Airstream they may have owned.
