This is obviously the inspiration for the '63 Corvette Split Window. But beyond that I have no idea what it's called.

Spotted on my way to lunch. Obviously well cared for and loved.

It is a Clipper, built in El Monte, California by Silver Streak. Mark and Grayce Doane owned one. Your wife and I (and rest of family) went to Yellowstone park in it in about 1953.

I think Mark & Grayce's was a '52. I'll need to dig out Grayce's log book.

You have it...they traded the Clipper in at Hart's in Long Prairie when they bought the Tradewind. If we think the current Airstream's are expensive, check out what they paid for your trailer...in today's bucks it would be VERY speedy!

Here is the invoice. I'm still looking for the logbook where Grayce tell the story of the Airstream salesman stopping by the campground in Millaca.
