Red numbers on trailers

I'm new to Airstream. Looking to buy one, and I have found one I like, but am having trouble finding the owner. Maybe I can search them out to make an offer. Can someone please tell me what the red numbers on upper front or rear on Airstream trailers mean? I was originally thinking they were serial munbers, but now, not sure.

The numbers are membership numbers for the WBCCI Airstream club.

There is a thread somewhere in this forum about searching for owners from the number. There is a annual membership directory of all current members. However for an old trailer the trail might go cold because the numbers are reused after a person is no longer a member.

If you go to Forums, then drop down to WBCCI, there is a long thread about the numbers and finding the owners.

Post the number. Someone on the forums will look it up for you.
